Seth Godin posted a piece that hits upon the state of the classroom today. It’s time for our educators to embrace the technologies that will not be going away any time soon. Teach students how to effectively use what is available to them to supplement their learning. Facebooking, chatting, and playing games in class seem to occur quite frequently these days. (I think some of them just shut down when they enter a lecture hall.)
I want students to learn how to efficiently use the web to supplement their in-class experiences. Maybe the students should send this video to their instructors.
